So far more than 260 people have commented on this product on Amazon. And most of them quite favorably!

Why are these people impressed?
Well, I would say it is probably because the decal is made from matte vinyl. This means that when you put the tree on your wall it will look very much like paint.
It just blends into the wall.
You do though have a choice of two colors for your tree. If you want the tree to look more natural then I would suggest that you go for the chestnut brown.
Or if you don’t want that natural look and want it to stand out then you could always decide on the black tree.
Applying the tree to your wall is simple as there is an easy step-by-step instruction sheet included. You will just need to follow a few simple steps. And that’s basically it.
What are the steps?
There are only 4 steps that you will need to take for each part of your tree.
And then when you have repeated these steps for each of the parts then you can stand back and admire your family tree on your wall.
- Cut out a part.
- Peel off the backing paper.
- Apply the part to the wall.
- Peel the transfer sheet.

By simply following the included instructions you can place on your wall a tree that measures 107 inches wide and is 90 inches tall.
The smaller tree is 95 inches wide and 80 inches tall.
I must point out that this product is only a wall decal. To display your family photos in the tree then you will have to purchase additional photo frames, (if you don’t already have them).
But don’t worry as Amazon makes it really easy for you to purchase these photo frames.
Want smaller again? No problem!
However, if you feel that even the standard and small sizes are too big for you then you do have a third option.
Simple Shapes also sell a Narrow Family Tree Wall Decal that has two further sizes.
The standard size for this product is 70 by 90 inches or if you want to go smaller then it will be 62.5 by 80 inches.
Again, for this alternative product, you will have a choice whether you want a black or a chestnut brown matte vinyl tree on your wall.

What size frames do you get?
- Eight 4×6
- Three 5×7
- Two 8×10
There are 13 picture frames included which will hold up to 17 of your family photos.
The picture frames come in three different sizes whereas the larger size can hold 3 photos each.
The frames are lightweight so you shouldn’t have any problem putting them up on your wall.
You will though need to decide whether you want to use either nails or screws when hanging these frames.
My personal choice is screws, however, one Amazon customer did use 3 to 4 pieces of velcro to hang up each of the frames.
Would I recommend this product?
Again yes I would!
As I pointed out this product is slightly different from the other trees as there are also photo frames included.
Although you don’t get many decals with this product once you have put it on your wall, along with the frames, it does look very much like a tree.

So, if you do decide to go with this product then make sure you have the room first.
You do though have only one color option for the tree and that is black. But it still looks beautiful with the butterflies and birds included.
And again it can look even more impressive with the additional photo frames. Although you will need to pay extra for these.

How easy is it to apply to your wall?
Very easy as you do have detailed instructions included. However, each of the leaves is individual and is not grouped together or part of the tree.
You don’t have to worry if you do make a mistake with placing the leaves on your wall. You can easily peel them off and adjust them.
Please note!
The seller does recommend that a newly painted surface is not recommended. You are advised to wait up to 3 months for the wall to completely dry.
Also, this wall decal will generally last for 5 years.
This is because sooner or later the adhesive will lose its stick. If the adhesive was too good then it could peel off the paint.
For this reason, you may want to re-stick them after the 5 years have elapsed.
Would I recommend this product?
If you have the wall space then yes I do!

Thank you for your comment and your questions. It really is a tough task to choose which photos to use. You really want to have at least one photo for an ancestor. You want to make sure though that they are of good quality as it can really brighten up the appearance of the tree even more so.
If you can’t decide on a photo of your ancestor why not have group shots of them. That way you will get many people featuring in your tree.
Plenty of people have gone for the MCS branded photo frames. These are really stylish frames and are easy for you to put your photos in and hang up on the wall, either vertically or horizontally.
They come in a set of 12 4×6 or you can get a set of 30 that includes twelve 4×6, twelve 5×7 and six 8×10.
