Old family photographs are a way for us to connect with our ancestors. You may have heard stories, tales and maybe tidbits of information that have been passed down the generations. It is only when we see the face of the person the story relates to do we truly become close to them.

I do not know about you but that is certainly how I feel when I look at the old family photos in my collection.

There is just so much though that these family heirlooms can tell us. Surprisingly they can give us clues to our family’s past, that is if you know what to look for.
